ELEMENTS OF PORCELAIN

The aim was to benefit from the characteristics of porcelain and porcelain production instead of working against it. The exterior of the bowls reveals how complex yet detailed shapes porcelain molding can create. At the same time, the inside explores the smoothness of the porcelain. The asymmetrical shapes allow the porcelain to deform freely in the oven without losing the expression. The bowls are made with inspiration from organic organisms such as shells, which also the word "porcelain" derives from.
